 I had lots of animals growing up, horses, dogs and cats.  My parents raised and showed boxers and I showed in junior handling.  I always wanted a smaller dog and when I got on my own, I purchased a sheltie for a pet.  I then wanted another one so looked for a show quality sheltie.  The dog show bug bit and I have been showing ever since.  I live here with Martin Warhurst who enjoys the shelties as much as I do.  The house was built in 2004 with the dogs in mind.  Our little piece of heaven is on 13 beautiful wooded acres with a pond, stream and tons of wildlife just south of Kansas City, Missouri.  The kennel building is attached to the garage with heat/air and has 9 indoor/outdoor runs.   The training building was added July, 2015.  The outside runs are covered and we have an acre fence for them to run and play.  My dogs all get along and run together unless females are in heat.  They are kept in the kennel at night and when we are gone.  They have indoor time with us mornings, evenings and weekends.   We have a puppy room off the family room where our puppies are born and kept until they are a few weeks old.  Then they move into the family room.  The oldsters stay in the house 24/7.
